The mission of DuPagePads is to end homelessness in DuPage County, Illinois. They provide signature year-round programs feed and shelter individuals and families who are homeless, connect them to case management and other services that can address the underlying cause of their homelessness.

PADS Needs Your Help

Woodridge United Methodist Church support the PADS mission. There are several ways you can volunteer time, donate money or much needed supplies. Visit the PADS links below:

Volunteering:

Shifts are available daily for volunteer support at DuPage Pads Interim Housing Center in Downers Grove, where families and individuals are provided with safe shelter, meals, kindness, and resources to help end their homelessness and reach a safe place to call home.

Additional volunteer opportunities are included periodically at the Client Access Center in downtown Wheaton, to support DuPage Pads with processing donations, assisting Street Outreach guests, and other duties to support our mission to end homelessness.

DuPage Pads Education and Employment Solutions Program seeks volunteer mentors, tutors, and assistants with Human Resource experience.

Specific Donation Items Needed

DuPage Pads is asking for specific donations items to meet clients most urgent needs. Click here to make a donation helping to replenish critical supplies and provide emergency temporary food and shelter. 

Please consider donating only these essential items listed using the curbside drop off box located in the parking lot of 703 W. Liberty Wheaton, IL 60187.

Donations of urgent needs list items can be made 24/7 using the Contact-less Donations Drop-Off box in front of our Access Center at 703 W. Liberty. In-person collection hours for urgent needs items are Monday-Friday 12:00pm-4:00pm.
