Looking around our world today we would be hard pressed to find places where the scales of justice;  peace; equitable distribution of the world's food and services; and almost anything else is balanced.  Inequity exists at all levels of our existence.   And sometimes it appears as if we can do nothing about it!  We work for peace but there is no justice.  We work for justice but there is no peace.  We look for ways to care for the least, the last and the left out and we hit a brick wall.  And what happens when we meet all of these obstacles?  We complain about it! 

The complaint department/customer service offices are full to overflowing and there seems to be no one listening. We try over and over again but feel that there are no results.  And certainly when we look around at our world, we see little or no evidence of equitable situations.  

Well, this didn't just start.  We will take a look at how far back inequity really goes and what does it say to us in today's society.  Let's take a look at how we might work toward "BALANCING THE SCALES" and where it begins.  Join us on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m..  We would love to see you in person but if that's not possible join us on YouTube!  Look forward to having you with us!
