Imitation or Pretense? Make Up Your Mind!

Here we are at our fifth and final week in our journey through the book of Ephesians.  We still aren't clear who the writer of Ephesians is but it is certainly someone who studied Paul, mastered his method and knew the challenges of the fledgling churches he was starting up.  Little did the writer of Ephesians know that the church today needed the same message of encouragement to work toward unity in all of its diversity or the reminder of who Jesus Christ is and why we should follow Him.

This week as we look at the last passage for this series, we hear the call to be the best replicas of God that we can be, putting away those behaviors that make us a "bad example" of the God we follow.  We must decide on the direction we choose in our behavior, both spoken and unspoken.  Will it be "IMITATION OR PRETENSE:  MAKE UP YOUR MIND".  Let's talk about it Sunday at 10:00 a.m..  Join us in person or on YouTube.

Series Information

We will be traveling through the book of Ephesians as we look at the message Paul gave to the early church.  He talked to the Ephesians about what a diverse group they were -- some were Jews and some were Gentiles -- and how that sometimes makes for difficult conversation.  Paul knew that there needed to be some "ground rules" that had to be put into place for those who were choosing to follow Jesus.  This was his opportunity to remind them of all that had been done on their behalf long before their lives came into being....God had already decided how the story should go.
