See World as God Sees!
Life doesn’t always go as we expect and plan. Though many may have mixed feelings about the election, let us bring our concerns to God with open hearts, trusting God to guide our nation’s leaders. Our role as the church is to stand firm in our commitment to justice and integrity, placing our trust in God, who is love. I, too, will continue to pray for our current president and incoming president, asking for God’s wisdom and guidance for our country.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Phillippians 4:5-7
In this week’s message, we draw inspiration from two powerful examples in Scripture: Esther and Jesus, both of whom teach us to act with compassion and prioritize God’s values over the world’s expectations. I invite you to see the world as God sees it. Please, join us for our Sunday worship Service.
