If you are active on social media you know that "updating your status" is something that you do regularly.......whether you like it or not sometimes.  It let's others know that you are "actively engaging" and paying attention to what is going on.  And there are various ways that you accomplish this task, but here is not the place to determine how, what and when for social media. That has to be something you do on your own.  

But we are going to talk a bit about "Updating Your Status" as a follower of Christ -- you know...that church-stuff!  Well, why?  Because it's Sunday morning!!!  We will reflect on the baptism story of Jesus and John's part in it as told by the Gospel writer Matthew.  A time of remembering our own baptism will also be offered because as we share in a time of Reaffirmation of Baptism, we update our status.  So, join us on Sunday morning at 9 or 10:30 a.m. for worship.  ALL are welcome!
