Thank you for considering Woodridge United Methodist Church as you plan your event.

Woodridge United Methodist Church seeks to be a community destination  develop and deepen on ongoing relationship with our neighbors where groups beyond the church can gather for meetings, celebrations or other events. Woodridge UMC offers affordable, comfortable, functional spaces for rent for daily, evening, weekend, weekly or longer-term rental.  We have spaces for all occassions - events, parties, receptions, classes, meetings, exhibits, recovery groups, etc. We have several multipurpose rooms and as well as a Hall.  If you are interested in securing a room at Woodridge UMC, please refer to the FAQs below the available spaces.

Scheduling Process

Fill out a Building Usage Request Form
     Preferably 2 months or more in advance for large events or weddings.
     Find the Building Use Request form here.
Turn the form into the Church Office, in person or via email
The Church Office will contact you once the event is approved by the Trustees

Scheduling Policy

Rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis.  Reserve early so that your group has the preferred space on the needed date/time.  You will also sign a user agreement and agree with the terms before renting.

User Agreements

We are required to have a Shared Spaces Agreement signed by all groups and individuals that use the church as well as the Building Use Agreement that is part of the Building Use Request form..  For long-term use, the agreement is renewed annually.  Find a copy of the Shared Spaces Agreement here

Guidelines

- Holy Week (the week between Palm Sunday and Easter) rentals are allowed only on a case-by-case basis and might require extra courtesies.
- Use of the sound board/livestream/monitors in the Sanctuary requires that of one the of church’s technical crew be present for an reasonable honorarium.
- A $50 key deposit is required from all groups when a key issued to them and long term users will be asked to update their check annually as it becomes stale.
- The security/key deposit(s) will be returned after receipt of building keys. 

Alcohol, Smoking & Drugs

Absolutely no alcohol is allowed on the premises including the outside property.  Smoking of cigarettes is permitted outside (more than 6 feet from any entrance), but please use the proper recepticals.  Smoking/ingesting of marijuana is also prohibited.

Not for Profits

If you are a non-profit and looking for office space, please contact the church office ( ) directly.

WiFi

Guests are welcome to use our wifi network, but please note that in our older building, sometimes the wifi signal is not strong.
