What We Believe
The United Methodist Church does not have a specific set of belief statements to which one must assent in order to participate.
Beliefs are best understood and experienced as something we live into with our whole selves, rather than as some thought that merely resides in our mind.
Here at Woodridge United Methodist Church, we are and open and loving community striving to follow Jesus’ command to love God and love our neighbors.
More specifically, our vision is to be:
Welcoming to all;
Uniting in service toward greater social justice for all;
Moving forward with understanding and acceptance of all peoples;
Creating disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Please join us in community to both experience our beliefs and to help us better live into them.
