A Tale of Two Brothers
This week’s Scripture reading often places more emphasis on the Prodigal Son, but the story is truly a tale of two brothers, both playing an equally important role. The younger son undergoes a radical transformation while away from home—an experience that ultimately leads him back to his father. However, his return angers his older brother, who struggles to understand why their father welcomes him back with such grace and celebration.
